Casa Verde Alpine Retreat at The Gateway to Cradle. Just 20 minutes from Cradle, Casa Verde Alpine Retreat at Moina is your own private retreat away from the crowd yet close enough to discover the many local fares and activities.
A photographer's paradise, in this area you'll be surrounded by nature's finest - lakes, spectacular views, mountain ranges, magnificient forests with giant treeferns, magical micro eco-systems and abundant flora and wildlife. And Lake Gairdner is just 2 minutes away.
 You can enjoy nature discovery walks even without leaving the property. Wander around Casa Verde's 4.5 acres of native ferned forest and you'll be amazed at what you'll find. These pictures represent just some of the wonders you may uncover. And we're building a walking track into part of the forest garden where you will feel you have the time just slip away. 
If its animals and birds you want to see, Casa Verde Alpine Retreat is just the place. There's echidnas busily foraging for ants, kookaburras, rare robins and wrens and many other bird species. Evening brings dozens of wallabies hopping through the bush and maybe you'll see a wombat out for an evening stroll. And if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the famous Tasmanian Devil or perhaps a spotted quoll!
Being centrally located at Moina, the Gateway to Cradle Country, means you can visit Cradle Mountain/Dove Laek and maybe walk the famous trails located in the Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park, plus many of the other Wilderness areas eg. the great Walls of Jerusulem, Mole Creek caves, Leven Canyon. AND you are close enough to also explore other local attractions, for example; Wilmot Hills Winery, Tazmazia, view the majestic scenery around Lakes Cethana and Barrington, Black Bluff and Bell Mountain and the picture-perfect views through the Wilmot Valley and from the Erriba Plateau. There are many other attractions just waiting to be uncovered. Lake Gairdner is just 2km down the road - a great place for fishing, canoeing and water play.
You're also just a 30 minutes scenic drive from famous Sheffield, the 'Town of Murals' and only 1 hour from the NorthWest Coast with its towns and beaches.
If its the famous rugged West Coast with historic fishing village of Strachan and mining town of Rosebery that draws you, Casa Verde Alpine Retreat at Moina will mean its only 1.5 hours away.
